Microsystem technology made in Baden-Württemberg: a story of success – also in the future!

The MicroTEC Südwest network is one of five winners in the second round of the BMBF Spitzencluster competition.
The Institut für Mikroelektronik Stuttgart together with numerous names from the research sector and innovative industrial companies in Baden-Württemberg will be investigating a range of different topics within the cluster.
The educational minister Anette Schavan will officially launch MicroTEC Südwest on October 15th, 2010. On this day, the state and federal cluster strategy will be portrait using selected presentations – with an emphasis on their significance for the economic development of Germany into a global player. Futhermore, the focus of the MicroTEC Südwest strategy as welll as the related actions and planning by the Clustermanagement Mikrosystemtechnik Baden- Württemberg (MST BW) will be detailed. The event is being rounded up with a demonstration of the strategic key topics, the cluster management and the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung.
