The MicroTEC SÃ¼dwest network is one of five winners in the second round of the BMBF Spitzencluster competition.
The Institut fÃ¼r Mikroelektronik Stuttgart together with numerous names from the research sector and innovative industrial companies in Baden-WÃ¼rttemberg will be investigating a range of different topics within the cluster.
The educational minister Anette Schavan will officially launch MicroTEC SÃ¼dwest on October 15th, 2010. On this day, the state and federal cluster strategy will be portrait using selected presentations â€“ with an emphasis on their significance for the economic development of Germany into a global player. Futhermore, the focus of the MicroTEC SÃ¼dwest strategy as welll as the related actions and planning by the Clustermanagement Mikrosystemtechnik Baden- WÃ¼rttemberg (MST BW) will be detailed. The event is being rounded up with a demonstration of the strategic key topics, the cluster management and the Bundesministerium fÃ¼r Bildung und Forschung.
