Smart Frame R&D Workshop at IMS

The workshop at the Institut für Mikroelektronik is a cooperation with MicroTEC Südwest and the Karlsruhe-based Institut für Technologie (KIT).

Goal of the workshops
Smart Frame is a European joint project primarily targeting small and medium-sized companies across the high-tech sector. Among else, research projects and cooperations of all sorts shall be initiated. The goal of the workshop is the creation of a sustainable network for research facilities and industrial companies, especially small and medium-sized companies, in order to strengthen transnational and interdisciplinary cooperations across joint research projects.

Workshop topics
Actors from Spitzencluster MicroTEC Südwest will be holding lectures in order to grant an insight into selected cluster technologies. Following this all participants will have an opportunity to present their facilities. After lunch the workshop´s intermediate results will be presented. The focus is on the interaction between the actors through interactive matchmaking.
