Modernizing the industrial sector and establishing a green economy in order to reduce the enormous environmental pollution is a particular market opportunity for our Baden-Württemberg-based companies", said Baden-Württemberg´s Prime Minister, Winfried Kretschmann before setting off to a week-long visit to the People´s Republic of China which he delegates together with the Minister for Finance and Economy, Nils Schmid.
Among the delegates traveling with them to Beijing, Shenyang, Nanjing and Shanghai are Secretary of the Environment, Franz Untersteller, Cultural Minister, Andreas Stoch, Science Minister Theresia Bauer and Minister of Transport, Winfried Herrmann, as well as members of the Baden-Württemberg parliament, representatives from the industrial sector and universities, science and research facilities, among those being IMS CHIPS Director Professor Joachim N. Burghartz. The delegation includes more than 120 people.
