During her visit to Hahn-Schickard in Villingen-Schwenningen on April 27th, 2017, Minister of Commerce, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, delivered the authorization for the âBW CPSâ project, an initiative sponsored by the government of Baden-WÃ¼rttemberg for the developmemt of modular system modules for intelligent and energy-efficient sensors for Industrie 4.0: Four specific applications will be demonstrating the potential the system modules have for future factories. There will be energy flows monitoring, climate technology control, recording of processing data in in-mold tools as well as optimization of intra logistics through localizing and navigational components. All this being achieved in close cooperation with industry which will benefit from all the compiled function that will become available.
