The focus of the delegation trip of Baden-Württemberg´s Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann to Paris will be the exchange with leading representatives from politics, science and industry on the topic of artificial intelligence and modern mobility solutions as well as the deepening of cooperation and the strengthening of networks.
"Europe cannot afford to be on the margins of digitization. And if we want to counter the USA and China in the field of artificial intelligence applications in business and science, we must work even more closely together in Europe and put all our talent and resources into the balance," said Minister President Winfried Kretschmann.
In line with the focus of the trip, Prime Minister Kretschmann will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of over 50 participants. From his cabinet, Science Minister Theresia Bauer and Transport Minister Winfried Hermann will take part in the trip. In addition, the delegation includes the State Secretary of the State Representation of Baden-Württemberg to the Federal Government, Volker Ratzmann and the Transport Policy Spokesman of the CDU state parliamentary group, Thomas Dörflinger, as well as representatives from industry, universities and scientific and research institutions, including Professor Joachim N. Burghartz of IMS CHIPS.
