90th Heidelberg Image Processing Forum – Focus on Multimodal Sensor Systems
Markus Strobel speaking at the Congress
On July 2, 2025, IMS CHIPS participated in the 90th Heidelberg Image Processing Forum, contributing to the discussion with an innovative approach combining thermography and image processing.
The forum focused on the highly topical subject of multimodal sensor systems. Camera systems operating across various spectral ranges open up new perspectives for industrial, medical, and security applications. In addition to a range of presentations, the event featured an exhibition and expert discussions on:
Spectral characteristics and integration of different sensor types
New application possibilities through combined data analysis
Practical case studies and demonstrators
Our contribution: IMS CHIPS showcased the HDRC-Q-PyroCam, a camera system that combines pyrometry with high dynamic range (HDR) imaging – ideal for industrial temperature monitoring. Markus Strobel presented the demonstrator and accompanying poster and engaged in discussions with experts from research and industry.
