IMS CHIPS at SuSi Summit – Practical Contributions to More Sustainable Cleanroom Operations
Our participation in this year’s SuSi Summit was marked by valuable discussions and exciting insights into how the semiconductor industry is addressing sustainability.
Our colleague Martin Zimmermann, alongside United Monolithic Semiconductors (UMS), delivered a very concrete and practice-oriented presentation. He not only highlighted approaches to evaluation, measurement, and planning but also presented tangible results and measures that can be directly applied and replicated.
UMS also adopted a practical perspective and provided impressive insights into the CO₂ footprint of fluorinated etching gases, presenting measures on how this can be significantly reduced.
The complementary panel discussions shed light on the topic from diverse angles, making the congress a particularly valuable forum for exchange and inspiration.
We experienced the SuSi Summit as highly fruitful and enriching. We especially appreciated the many conversations and the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces. With our contribution, we were able to present solution-oriented opportunities and courses of action that will significantly shape the future of our industry.
Our sincere thanks go to the organizers for the invitation and the opportunity to actively contribute as speakers.
