New Perspectives for Future Projects at the 85th IMS CHIPS Board of Trustees Meeting

We are looking back on a very special 85th IMS CHIPS Board of Trustees Meeting – shaped by valuable personal exchange, new perspectives, and inspiring technical insights.

We were pleased to welcome our new members of the Board of Trustees:

  • Tim Gutheit (Infineon)
  • Steffen Diez (Heidelberg Instruments)
  • Alwin Daus (University of Stuttgart)

We are very much looking forward to future collaboration and shared impulses within the Board of Trustees.

Alongside the regular agenda items and the management report, the programme was rounded off by a technical presentation from Astrit Shoshi. Entitled “Slanted and Blazed Waveguide Gratings for Immersive Microdisplays in AR, VR, and MR Applications”, the presentation provided exciting insights into current developments in immersive display technologies.

Particularly valuable: the presented approaches open up new perspectives and potential starting points for future projects and research activities.

We would like to sincerely thank our Board of Trustees members for their valuable exchange and commitment, as well as everyone involved in making this meeting a success. Special thanks go to Astrit Shoshi for the inspiring keynote presentation and the exciting insights shared.
