IMS CHIPS Summer Party 2026

Colleagues, customers, partners, suppliers and former IMS colleagues came together for our Late Summer Party on September 10. An evening that once again showed us that IMS CHIPS is shaped not only by the projects we work on, but by the people who make them possible.

Good food, cold drinks and late-summer weather provided the perfect setting to catch up, exchange ideas, look back on the year so far and reconnect with many familiar faces.

We were particularly delighted to welcome so many former IMS colleagues back to Stuttgart – some of whom travelled from across Germany to join us. Among them were long-time companions who are now enjoying retirement as well as colleagues who spent only a few years at IMS CHIPS before continuing their careers elsewhere.

Seeing them return, sometimes many years later, means a great deal to us. We enjoy following the paths of our former colleagues and are always happy to welcome them back.

Because an institute is about more than cleanrooms, research and technological milestones. It is shaped by the people who contribute their ideas, expertise and passion – whether they are part of IMS CHIPS today or were part of it five, ten or twenty years ago.

Over the years, this has created a strong network that extends far beyond our institute and includes current and former colleagues as well as customers, partners and suppliers.

Our sincere thanks go to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. And, of course, to all those who planned, prepared, set up, grilled, served and cleaned up afterwards.
